The Fight Like Frank Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to celebrating and remembering the life of Francis Gessler while helping to support and raise awareness for various charitable organizations.
The Fight Like Frank Foundation was established by the Gessler family to honor the memory of their beloved Francis, who passed away from a brain aneurysm on September 16, 2011. Frank was just 30-years old.
In his passing, Frank saved others by donating his organs through the Gift of Life Foundation. Of the 2 million people who die nationally each year, only 1 percent of them are suitable to be an organ donor, however only 50% of those families will say “yes”. The Fight Like Frank Foundation strives to stress the importance and need for organ and tissue donation, while raising recognition and awareness for the Gift of Life Foundation and supports The Brain Aneurysm Foundation.
The Fight Like Frank Foundation hosts an annual Monte Carlo night each Fall, which benefits various charitable organizations, and celebrates the life of Francis Gessler.
